My passion: Caporales
My passion is dancing caporales. Caporales is a traditional dance from Bolivia, I've been dancing caporales for seven years now. I dance in the group Caporales San Simon VA USA. We go to different states to perform our dance. From Virginia to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and lots more. I like dancing caporales because it's a very exciting dance. It is also a good workout. Practices are held every Sunday and we practice for three hours. I am not bolivian but i enjoy it and it is something that I see myself doing for a very long time. Caporales in Virginia has became a good activity for a lot of teenagers. Dancing caporales benefits me, it is an out of school activity that has kept me from getting in trouble. traveling & dancing in parades is the best part. We perform in so many parades. Audiences in those presentations seem very interested and it sometimes makes them want to join as well. Like when I performed in the Heritage assembly, my classmates were very interested and so far now I have gotten about four of them to join my group and they love it. I like recruiting for this dance. I make fliers and also post information on Twitter and Facebook.

My desire to attend Paul Mitchell The School
One of my biggest desires is to go to Paul Mitchell The School. Paul Mitchell is a hair salon and school. Doing research on it, there is a location in Tyson's Corner Mall. Paul Mitchell The School is a college. To get into Paul Mitchell you need a state board license. I am currently taking cosmetology at my school. It think it's a wonderful opportunity, thats why I work hard for it. This is my second year taking cosmetology class, next year I would be able to get my state board. It will require a lot of studying. Well back to information about Paul Mitchell. When attending Paul Mitchell you need supplies and the textbooks. The costs are for supplies, kit ,and tuition. I got the this information on the Paul Mitchell website. I would be looking into reading more information but if I really want to get into Paul Mitchell The School it's going to take a lot of work, and also maybe starting to work at a temporary salon after getting my license is going to help me economic wise. I got the this information.

My Trip to the Newseum
For my spring break I went to the Newseum in Washington, D.C. I learned a lot of different new things. All the technology there had things that I never seen before. I had seen a 4-D movie. They had moving seats which I think makes the movie way more exciting. There was a section in the newseum where they had different computers where you can read different articles. Also there was a section in the museum where you can be a reporter. The staff there just gives you reports to read. You can also take pictures to be in the cover of a newspaper. In the entrance of the Newseum they had newspapers of all 50 states "Today News". I was surprised because someone had to change the newspaper posts everyday. Thats a lot of hard work but a smart idea.

What I Mostly like About Cosmetology
The best part about taking cosmetology class is exploring different things. I think as a girl, taking the class makes it way more fun and interesting. We like looking nice, and when we use the source of this class we think about the things that are in fashion these days. Hairstyles to hair coloring. When we dye hair, we like trying different colors. All the chemicals that we use to get a certain color surprises us and we get excited. Also we learn to help others. Which me personally I like doing. We learn to help costumers in looking different and also just relaxing. We do facials that can help you relax in the mind. My favorite part about taking cosmetology is doing hair. Just because I'm the type of person that likes to look nice my hair. The career as a hairstylist, in the future, is a okay paying job. If you work at a salon where a lot of people go to, then you'll tip will be good.

Me in Five Years
I always get asked where do I see myself in five or ten years. When they ask me that, I always end up thinking about it. Looking at it now I know one career that I might enjoy is Cosmetology. I love doing hair. After high school, I would like to continue going to school. I have had in mind of Paul Mitchell School. Just to get better and finally work at a salon or maybe even open and own one. Though I don't only have cosmetology in mind, I would also like to become part of the medical field. Becoming an OBGYN nurse i also have in mind. I just like babies and the career is a very fun and good career. It's a career where I know that if I do work hard on..I wouldn't have a problem with the whole "independent life" you reach to at some point in your life.

"The Path to Success"
The Path to Success, what is the path to success? Only you know whats your path because it all depends on you. When your planning your future you got to look at the steps of the path to really see whats there. If a high school student wants to get through the path of success, they have to put their all in school now, get good grades, and make the right decisions, I think it all depends on yourself. There are a lot of things that can help you get through that path also. There are people that encourage you and people that help you actually get to that point of success. Like your parents. They can encourage you by making sure your going to school and doing your homework. Its always nice when they tell you that they can help you go to a college that you wanna go to after high school like pay for it or anything. BUT I think the fair way to earn that is doing what you got to do.

"The Secret of a Teenage Life"
I'm only a teenager, and Ive made mistakes in my past. But I'm just a teenager. I have a life ahead of me. I try to shine every second of the day, with a good mood. I always say how life is so unfair, but I'm just a teenager I haven't explored reality yet. When I wake up in the morning I feel cool, because I'm in high school. Picking the cute outfits for school, and feeling good that I did my homework last night. I know my appearance shouldn't matter, but I'm a teenager. Teenage girls now a days think about fashion. We're just teenagers but the "teenage life" requires school. What are your goals for after school? I always think about mine. This so called teenage life opens my eyes and shows me its the path too SUCCESS, the secret of a teenage life.
